LG Electronics has just dropped the news about their StanbyME Go portable screen, presented at IFA 2023 and designed to bring you entertainment wherever you are.

So, what’s the fuss about it? Well, it’s LG’s way of giving you top-notch entertainment on the move. Picture this: a 27-inch LED touchscreen attached to a sleek stand inside a durable suitcase. You can swivel, tilt, and rotate it to fit your mood, whether you’re watching in landscape, portrait, or table mode — Plus, it’s got a built-in 20-watt speaker that adapts to how you’ve got the screen set up, giving you that immersive surround sound. Check out some pictures we’ve taken from it:

It’s not just any screen

The product supports Dolby Vision video tech and Dolby Atmos stereo sound, so you’re in for a treat. Oh, and don’t worry about lugging it around, because StanbyME Go has got you covered with a built-in battery that gives you up to 3 hours of viewing time between charges — There’s even a nifty handle for easy carrying!

Another thing worth mentioning is that the StanbyME Go has LG’s webOS software, so you can do all sorts of things like AirPlay and screen mirroring with your iOS or Android devices as well as connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. A great extra is that it also has voice recognition, so you can control it hands-free (change channels, search for stuff, and more – all with your voice).

David Park, Head of HE Product Marketing sums it up nicely:

“LG StanbyME Go makes the full-scale viewing experience travel-friendly and offers a versatile option for streaming, listening, remote working and more.”
