Road SMS makes Samsung Galaxy S transparent – sorta

Now here’s an interesting application if you happen to own a spanking new Samsung Galaxy S – we’re talking about the Road SMS which is available exclusively via the Samsung Apps download store on the Galaxy S, which will create an optical illusion of the handset being transparent by overlaying a QWERTY keyboard on top of a live view from the phone’s camera. This basically allows you to text while walking, although your level of attention to what’s going on in the background is much less than walking with both eyes peeled on the road totally, but at least it might give you some hope of avoiding an open manhole while texting.
