Gmail Contacts Interface Updated

If you’ve been using Gmail regularly over the past few days, you’ll probably have noticed that Google has updated the interface slightly, with a lot of focus being placed on the updated contacts page. With the new design, contacts should be easier to use and offers useful improvements such as sorting by last name, keyboard shortcuts, and even custom labels for phone numbers. You might want to check out the full details of the changes at the official announcement page, and if you’re using Google Apps and scratching your head wondering why everything looks the same, it seems that these updates are rolling out a little slower for you, and Google is busy working on offering this new interface to Google Apps customers.
