The new range of Casio G-Shock timepieces will make life even easier, as it offers a high brightness LED backlight for the digital display which will light up automatically whenever the watch thinks that you have tilted it towards your eye. Also known as the GD-100 range, it’s high brightness white LED backlight relies on a newly developed luminescence circuit which does not sip any more juice than its predecessors, delivering around 6 times the brightness of a conventional LED. With a battery life that can touch seven years (!), you can be sure that this G-Shock purchase will last you for a long, long time to come. Other features include a world time function, five alarms, a stopwatch, and a countdown timer among others. No word on pricing though.
