Hackintosh Hardware Installed In An Amazon Cardboard Box

We’ve seen various case mods before, and every now and then a strange one surfaces. Next up is a hackintosh machine that’s been crammed into a cardboard box, instead of the usual PC casing. Apparently the user was having an issue getting Adobe After Effects running on a slower Mac, so they purchased some higher specification PC parts on Amazon and assembled it all in the Amazon cardboard box that it came in. Do bear in mind that installing Apple’s OS X on a non-Apple machine might violate Apple’s End User License Agreement. Video of it in action is available after the jump.Specifications of this mod include:

  • 2.66GHz Intel Core i5 processor
  • 1TB hard drive
  • 8GB of DDR3 RAM
  • XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5 graphics card
