With all the negative press that has surrounded Notion Ink’s Adam tablet launch, some folks were already beginning to wonder if it was going to end up as vaporware. Now a Dutch developer out there has received an early unit that will allow him to work on apps for the platform, and he’s graciously posted the unboxing photos online for everybody to see. Of course, just because someone has managed to receive a unit doesn’t mean that everything will work out peachy keen, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Considering that the Adam features some of the best specifications for an Android tablet out there, it’ll be a tablet that many folks are waiting for. Specifications of the Adam include:
- 10-inch display
- NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip
- Android OS
- Pixel Qi display (on certain models)
- Optional 3G
