[CES 2011] Acer is coming to CES with the ultimate entertainment machine aka the Aspire AS8950G-9839 that delivers some serious performances. Starting at $1599.99, the laptop boasts the new Intel Core i7-2630QM processor with Turbo Boost 2.0, ATI Mobility Radeon 6850 GPU with 2GB of dedicated video memory, 8GB of DDR3 dual-channel memory (upgradeable to 16GB), a 18.4-inch edge-to-edge glass LED back-lit display with 1080p HD, and a Dolby optimized Acer CineSurround sound system that includes five built-in speakers and a dedicated subwoofer. The AS8950G-9839 will be available next week (Jan9), the list of features is long, check it out after the jump.
