T Mobile puts up a page for its upcoming G Slate Android tablet We recently caught wind of T-Mobile and LG’s G-Slate Android-powered tablet announcement and also saw the tablet pay a visit to the FCC. Now it’s likely that we’re moving slightly closer to the launch of the device as T-Mobile has put up an information page for the upcoming tablet, allowing you to enter your email address and be informed with upcoming information about it. The site itself doesn’t provide any information that we didn’t already know, such as 4G support and also the use of Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Of course, we’ll be keeping you in touch with this tablet with the latest leaks too, so stay tuned!

The conglomerate specializes in developing electronics, telecom products, and chemicals. LG Corp. was founded in 1947 by Koo In-Hwoi. Koo first established Lak-Hui Chemical Industrial Corp. in 1947. Today, Lak-Hui (pronounced lucky) is known as LG Chem. The company then expanded its business and created Goldstar Co. Ltd, now known as LG Electronics Inc. Both companies merged and formed Lucky-Goldstar, which was eventually renamed “LG” in 1995.
