It has finally happened – the Sonos Controller for Android is now official, and boy has it taken its own sweet time to hit the market nearly a year in development. This free Wi-Fi music remote will enable Sonos owners control over their entire home audio system as long as said device is running Android 2.1 and above, not to mention coming with a display resolution of HVGA 320 x 480, WVGA 480 x 800 or WVGA 480 x 854. Arriving in the Android Market at the end of March, it will also go one up on the Sonos iOS controller by having its music controls mapped directly to the buttons on your Android hardware. Imagine using your Android-powered smartphone to control the volume, and how does voice search sound to you as well? Get more information from the official video in the extended post.
