Not all USB flash drives are built the same when you take into consideration the Collector USB flash drive – as this particular peripheral lacks any flash chips inside, since it requires you to take up the responsibility to furnish the device with flash memory of your own in the form of microSD memory cards. Sporting a trio of microSD memory cards, all you need to do is slide off the cover panel, throw in any three microSD memory cards (which has been formatted beforehand, of course), close the top and you’re good to go with a RAID-0 microSD card setup. Of course, this works only if you have plenty of microSD memory cards lying around, otherwise just give it a miss. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
