Lenovo’s joining the tablet wars! The folks at ThisIsMyNext just leaked Lenovo’s 10.1-inch screen ThinkPad Tablet. Details on the tablet are anything but scant: Android 3.0 Honeycomb, dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1280×800 capacitative IPS display, dual cameras (front and rear), 16/32/64GB storage, USB 2.0, Micro USB, mini HDMI port and an SD card slot. Wi-Fi and 3G models will also be available. A stylus and a keyboard dock can be connected as well.

All of that will be packed into a 1.6 pound body – quite light if you ask me. The leaked slide points to a target ship month of July for $499. For a tablet with so much going for it, it already sounds like a winner, but as most of us know, if it has a lousy battery, it’ll be dead on arrival.

Hopefully Lenovo will have Android 3.0 in better shape than the Xoom did.
