There are rumors, and then there are rumors. When it comes to the Micro Four Thirds shooter (which is yet unreleased, btw) known as the Panasonic G3, whispers are going around that it will be announced on May 11th (London time), sporting a 16-megapixel sensor that is not a multi-aspect sensor. It seems that being a totally new sensor from ground up, it remains to be seen whether Panasonic successfully improved the noise performance and dynamic range, but only time will tell.

Now what you see above is an artist’s impression of what could be, so the design is still up in the air, with some quarters hoping that this future Micro Four Thirds shooter will be worth more than a second look, and that your eyes won’t get tired of checking it out. What are some of the features and design cues that you would like to see in the Panasonic G3 when it hits the streets?
