There is one thing that we love about concepts – you can just go nuts with the idea without having to worry about whether it is actually feasible to construct or not, and you are not bound by any physical laws as everything is in your imagination. Hmmm, I’m starting to sound a bit of a Green Lantern, no? Well, here is the Saddle ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) concept from designer Attila Tari who envisioned a method for humans to get across and cover miles of uneven terrain which normal vehicles fear to tread. After all, a horse was used in the past, so why not in the future, albeit the robotic kind?

Boasting an equestrian style seat, the Saddle can be controlled using what looks like reins which steer the three wheels independently. All juice will be obtained from a lithium battery which in turn will drive a hub motor that is mounted within each wheel, basically making the Saddle the only effectively three wheel drive vehicle to date – assuming it rolls off the manufacturing lines, of course.
