The Android client of Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity is now available for Android-powered Xperia smartphones form Sony Ericsson, where it will be able to be downloaded by such users who live in the following countries – the US, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. On selected Xperia smartphones in the above mentioned markets, you will be prompted to access the service through a dedicated icon on the phone’s display.

The smartphones in question? They are the Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo,  Xperia X10 and  Xperia X8. As for owners of the Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro and Xperia pro, you will just have to wait until later this year to be on the receiving end of a similar service, so don’t fret just yet and remain as patient as possible in the mean time.

With Qriocity, you can take advantage of this cloud-based, digital music service to enjoy streaming audio anytime, anywhere, with an ever expanding catalogue of over seven million licensed songs to choose from. Sounds like a dream, no? Of course, we’re sure those with more eclectic musical tastes will have to look elsewhere to get their portable music fix. [Press Release]
