HP has spanking new notebooks from their Pavilion range for you to choose from – where they will be known as the dv6z Quad Edition. Relying on AMD’s speedier Llano-based chips that will start from 1.4GHz quad A6-3400M, going up all the way to a 1.9GHz A8-3530MX, these are able to be given a shot in the arm to hit 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz, respectively. With the fusion (pun intended) of Fusion technology, you will get full HD video playback that is as smooth as a baby’s bottom – no dropped framerates for sure.

Other hardware specifications include 16GB RAM (now that’s a whole lot for sure!), a 1TB hard drive, and a Blu-ray drive. It doesn’t matter which model you decide to bring home – all of them will feature Beats audio, 3D-capable HDMI 1.4 video out and a couple of USB 3.0 ports that ought to keep you ahead of the upgrade curve for some time to come.

We might be bold enough to venture and say that the best selling point of the Quad Edition would be its price point – starting from $650 upwards.
