The Warhammer 40,000 series has gained quite the cult following over the years, and you would be surprised at how many ways can one paint a Space Marine with all the decals and colors available. Well, to transform a tabletop game into a digital format is rather challenging, but we’re glad to say that just like movies that has received the help of technology, so did Warhammer 40,000 with their latest third-person shooter known as Space Marine, where the game will be published by game house THQ.

It is reported that the demo for Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine is set to arrive on the PC as well as the Xbox Live platform this coming August 23rd, while those who jive to the PS3 will have to be a little bit more patient as the PlayStation Network version is set to arrive the day after.

Only two levels will be showcased in the demo, but that should be enough to whet the appetite of fans, with one of the levels pitting you against a pack of orcs who are waiting to cut you down to size, while the other features the Jump Pack. Once you’ve gone through the demo levels 40,000 times, the full game should be released by then.
