Hmmm, it seems that Verizon Wireless might have had the wrong target in sights after positioning their latest $50 unlimited prepaid plan in the market – not when AT&T has just announced that from September 18th onwards, GoPhone (AT&T’s version of prepaid plans) customers are able to select a $25 monthly plan which that will comprise of 250 nationwide voice minutes and unlimited, nationwide messaging – where the figure will reset itself every 30 days. Sure, it might not be unlimited in all aspects, but if you happen to talk for less than 10 hours each month, why not lower your monthly expenses with this particular plan?

Just make sure you have your calculator whipped out and handy at all times though – since any additional minutes left over will not be able to roll over to next month’s count. I believe those who have not been able to spend all their minutes might just be talking more than they want to at the end of the month to maximize their money’s worth. [Press Release]
