Android’s next version of its operating system is known as Ice Cream Sandwich, touching number 4.0 in the natural order of things – where it will consolidate both smartphone and tablet environments in a single ecosystem. Someone who purchased a Nexus S from eBay actually got more than he bargained for, as an early build of Ice Cream Sandwich was already installed on it with a video to boot.

The 2-minute silent video sees one going through the motions of a camera, app drawer, launcher, notification bar and lock screen, and it seems that this bit of news actually managed to reach the ears of those over at Google, where the Internet search giant has decided to remotely wipe the device. The owner of the said Nexus S has since gone on to the XDA developers forum to collaborate with other well known developers in order to salvage any remaining useful information.

One developer even mentioned that this is the real Android 4.0 running. Just imagine the kind of odds to get such a phone from eBay that contains a treasure trove of information, eh?
