Android MarketThere’s a new Android Market update being pushed out to some handsets recently and it features some significant improvements over the previous version. It brings Android Market up to version 3.3.11 and has options such as auto-update by default for apps, update over WiFi only, auto-add shortcuts to your homescreen after installing an app, a smaller font, a new app drawer icon, voice search, star rating chart on app pages, minor tweaks to the UI and more.

Thanks to the folks at Android Police, you don’t have to wait for the update to be pushed to your phone and you can install it today. Be sure to back up your apps and data in case anything goes wrong – you never know. This version of the Market is also said to be glitchy on Honeycomb tablets so if you own one, I suggest you stay away from this update for now.
