Amazon Kindle Store now in Italy and SpainGood news for folks in Italy and Spain who have been longing to get their hands on a Kindle eReader – Amazon has finally opened up its doors to the aforementioned countries just in time for the holiday season. Folks living in Italy and Spain will be able to pick up the Kindle eReader for €99 ($133). No word on whether they’ll be getting the Kindle Fire just yet though.

The Italian Kindle Store offers over 16,000 Italian-language books at launch, while the Spanish store has over 22,000 Spanish-language books. With the launch of these two new stores, Amazon now sells the Kindle in the US, UK, France, Germay, Italy and Spain. So for the rest of you who don’t have access to the Kindle Store yet, stay tuned. You can be sure that Amazon has got plans to open more stores all over the world.
