While we work on the review of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Verizon Wireless, we have already recorded an unboxing video of it, wrappers and all, which you can see for yourself over here. Well, as we get down to the nitty gritty of the handset, Verizon Wireless themselves have stepped forward to claim that there is a particular issue bugging the Galaxy Nexus – and it is nice to know that Verizon too, is already working on a fix even as you read this. According to a response tweeted by the official Verizon account @VZWSupport today, the company claims that reported signal issues are “currently being investigated”, although there is no release date attached to the upcoming software update. Ah well, something is still better than nothing, don’t you agree? Perhaps Samsung and Google will work on tweaking the mapping of signal strength to the status bar’s meter, making this more of a psychological fix than anything else. Patience is key here as we wait with bated breath for the update…
