Hasselblad TVHasselblad, the Swedish manufacturer of cameras and photographic equipment has announced the launch of Hasselblad TV – an online video platform aimed at photographers, both aspiring and professional. Hasselblad TV aims to be a portal where Hasselblad enthusiasts can go to for fundamental training on their camera systems and software techniques. While the main chunk of the website will help photographers learn how to use their Hasselblad cameras and equipment.

While Hasselblad TV is now live, Hasselblad is looking for photographers to submit videos of interesting shoots, stories and events to post on the website. “We want everyone, from students to leading professionals – from those who rent Hasselblad cameras and those who own them – to submit their videos.”

At launch, channels will cover products, company history, news and events, education and training, and even Hasselblad Masters’ videos that encompass various photo-genres including architectural, editorial, fashion/beauty; fine art, landscape/nature; portrait/social and wildlife. At the moment it is only in English, but Hasselblad intends to set up channels for other languages/regions in the future.
