Little Big Planet fans, it seems that Sony might be announcing a new franchise of the game which will take the form of kart racing. This was announced by Future Shop, a retail outlet from Canada who tweeted (tweets have been removed since) this piece of news from an official Sony event, and while it could not be confirmed at that time, a recent image leaked onto the internet seems to have confirmed the existence of the game.
The image appears to be a standup banner which Sony is known to favor and has revealed the title of the upcoming game to be “Little Big Planet Karting”. Unfortunately the details of what sort of features the game will bring to the table remain a mystery for now. Sony has not made any official announcement as of yet, but Future Shop also revealed that the company has plans to release an official PlayStation Move racing wheel, which we guess would most likely be compatible with Little Big Planet Karting.
