We’ve seen a fair share of uses for augmented reality applications, and while they are impressive, they usually require some sort or marker or glyph to activate. Well, the folks over at Harmonypark have come up with something even better: an augmented reality engine that doesn’t require anything special to activate. They recently released a demonstration video showing off what the engine is capable off, and it is pretty impressive.

Using a Dr. Pepper can and a flat white table, the demonstration shows us how the can can be morphed in real time, spiced up with effects, and even turned into an obstacle for little people to run circles and jump around it. If you’re a developer who is interested in picking up the Obvious Engine to use in your app, contact Harmonypark for more details. In the meantime, check out the video demonstration above.
