When a natural disaster strikes, sometimes first aid is required, and when first aid is not enough to help with the injuries, we might have to reach out to others to call for help. In worst case scenarios, often depicted in the movies, phone batteries almost always run low or laptops/computers cannot be powered on, which we’re guessing is what Steven Corraliza had in mind when he came up with the Potencia First Aid Concept.

On first glance it appears to be nothing more than a first aid box, which if you had guessed that you’d be absolutely right, but within the first aid box there is more than meets the eye. The Potencia First Aid Concept not only acts as a first aid kit, but also pulls double duty to act as a source of emergency power supply. It can be used to charge mobile phones, laptops and according to its design, can even power lights when the electricity supply has been cut.

Made out of sturdy steel and plastic composite material, the Potencia First Aid Concept will also feature electroluminescent strips to help it glow in the dark so that individuals will be able to locate it better. It is also expected to pack a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, but unfortunately Steven Corraliza neglected to mention just how much power the packs will be able to hold. What do you guys think? Useful?
