Samsung Galaxy S2 20 million sold worldwide Samsung’s Galaxy S2 Android phone is one of the company’s most popular devices sold, and if you’re wondering how popular – Samsung announced today that sales of the phone has hit 20 million units since it was introduced in April 2011. Not surprising seeing how the phone has been around for almost a year and it isn’t outdated yet in terms of hardware. Sure, 20 million might be nothing when compared to the iPhone, but it is one Android phone among the plethora of choices out there – so that’s saying something. In the consumer electronics world, Samsung has gone from being a company with a reputation for cheap products to becoming one of the most respected companies in the world.
