Marshall is a brand known by musicians around the world for putting out great sounding amplifiers for guitars, bass, and other music instruments, which is why the possibility of Marshall creating a consumer speaker of their own really isn’t a stretch of the imagination, at least not as far as designer Michaël Imbert is concerned who has come up with the Marshall Freeplayer speaker concept.

According to his design, the Freeplayer is a speaker designed for consumer audio products, like the iPod for example, and it has even been suggested that users will be able to sync their iPods with the Freeplayer via Bluetooth or by docking it and that the speaker will be able to out 360 degrees of “high quality audio”.

All in all it’s a pretty interesting idea to have Marshall begin moving towards providing speakers for non-musicians, and the design itself is reminiscent of Marshall’s amplifiers, a nice touch that musicians will be able to appreciate, so what do you guys think?
