Yahoo! has just pushed out a new version of its Messenger app for Android devices. The latest version of the app now has the ability to easily share your location with all your friends by giving you the option to include it in your status updates. You no longer have to manually load up Google Maps on your phone, and copy your location details to share it with your friends. Adding your location is just a button press away with Yahoo! Messenger.
For those of you who aren’t comfortable with sharing your location data – fret not, as it is completely optional and will only be enabled if you let it. However, being able to see where all your Yahoo! buddies are on a map is a pretty nifty idea that would help in planning impromptu meetups and the like.
