If you’re living in Japan and you’re in the market for a new handset, you might be interested to learn that the specs of the Sony Xperia SX SO-05D Komachi has been leaked. Unfortunately no photos accompanied the leak but assuming the information is to be believed, the Komachi (named after a high-speed shinkansen) will feature a 3.7” qHD 540×960 display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 1,500mAh battery, infrared connectivity, a One-Seg TV tuner and will feature 4G LTE that will be compatible with NTT DoCoMo’s network. It will also come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled. No word on when it will be released or how much it will cost, but it does sound like a pretty decent device that we’re sure many wouldn’t mind seeing stateside, assuming Sony has plans to release it in the US market of course. In the mean time it’s probably safe to assume that this particular handset will be limited to the Japanese market.
