AT&T logoOne of the worst things you can probably forget to do is to leave your smartphone’s data roaming turned on whenever you travel abroad. You will most probably return to your home with a bill shock, so it is always a good thing to remember to turn off your data roaming capability before you leave the immigration counter of your home country. AT&T has new international data plans that intends to lighten your financial load, as from tomorrow onwards, it will offer 120MB of international data for just $30 each month. This offer will be valid for 130 countries worldwide, and if 120MB is too paltry for you, there are always 300MB and 800MB options to choose from as well.

These will cost you $60 and $120, respectively, and if you happen to exceed your data limit, then you will have to pay $30 more since an additional 120MB of data will be added to your account. Sounds steep? Not really when you think about it. This move by AT&T is seen by some as a knee jerk reaction to Verizon’s own update of their international data fees last month.
