The HTC One series of smartphones has yet to be fully deployed in the US – in fact, we just received word that the HTC One V will be arriving later this summer, although the folks over at HTC have decided to remain tight lipped about the situation. They did let loose a little tidbit though, saying that the HTC One V will arrive for a “variety” of US carriers. Just to refresh your memory, the HTC One V is the least impressive of the HTC One series, where it will come with a 3.7″ WVGA display, a single-core 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and a 5-megapixel camera. Nothing spectacular, but it is functional at the very least. Ah well, good thing the HTC One V will ship with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system alongside Sense 4.0, so that means you need not wait for a future software update. Will the purple and black shades of the HTC One V also make their way? Only time will tell.
