If you’re in the market for a cheap Android smartphone, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has outed a certain Huawei M660. While it has yet to be officially confirmed, the device appears to be slated for a release on prepaid wireless carrier, MetroPCS, although no word on an exact release date or pricing just yet. In terms of hardware, users can expect to find a 3.2” touchscreen display, a physical QWERTY keyboard, support for CDMA2000 on the 800/1700/1900MHz bands, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connectivity and will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Like we said, no word on pricing just yet, but given its entry-level specs and the fact that it could launch on MetroPCS, safe to say that the Huawei M660 will not break the bank upon its release. The rest of its hardware specs remain unknown for now so be sure to check back with us later for more updates. If anything this phone looks like it could shape up to be a budget Android device for fans of the physical keyboard.
