LG has just announced their spanking new Premium Personal TV series that will (obviously) offer Full HD resolution, delivering lifelike color and 3D functionality amongst others. This new range of premium personal TVs will merge the functions of a TV and a monitor into a single entity, where LG’s DM2752 and M2752 monitors will enable users to be able to enjoy a wide range of multimedia entertainment that comprise of terrestrial HD broadcasting to just about any content which is served up by a PC at Full HD resolution. Needless to say, your eyes will be pleased that both personal TVs will boast of IPS panels, delivering lifelike color and extremely wide viewing angles.

These personal TVs will come with Picture-in-Picture (PIP) capabilities, letting one open up multiple screens at once, while watching TV as they work on a PC. Not exactly the most productive working set up that I can think of, but I guess if you were doing some sort of casual work, it might just pan out all right. These personal TVs also come with Infinite Surround Sound that deliver a full-depth surround sound experience, accompanied by a couple of HDMI ports.

J.J. Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of IT Business Unit of LG Home Entertainment Company, said, “With the integration of multimedia entertainment and the internet, LG is at the frontier of cutting-edge TV technology. We are developing unique personal TVs designed to meet the needs of changing consumer habits, whether that customer’s passion is 3D gaming, internet browsing or simply watching their favorite sitcom.”

The LG DM2752 will arrive in select Europe markets from July onwards, while the LG M2752 is already available.
