Acer, one of the more notable computer manufacturers in the world, has just announced the release of the 27″ Aspire 7600U and the 23″ Aspire 5600U all-in-one PCs, and regardless of which particular model you decide to pick up, it will run on the Windows 8 operating system that ought to have you sit up and take notice of it, don’t you think so? Computex 2012 in Taipei, Taiwan, which incidentally is Acer’s very own backyard, ought to receive representation from the company as well, so it is good that both the Acer Aspire 7600U and Aspire 5600U all-in-one PCs were announced then.

The former would boast of a 64-point capacitive multitouch tilt and swivel display, and despite that, it measures a mere 3.5cm (1.38″) thin, which will definitely go some way in making sure that your desk has plenty of space to put other stuff. The Aspire 5600U, on the other hand, has been touted to be “the thinnest AIO available” – although there were no available figures to back up that claim, we shall just have to take Acer’s word for it. They are no fly-by-night company by any means, so it would be a blow to their ego if their claims cannot be supported.

Either system will net you HD visuals and Dolby Home Theater Surround sound. If you are looking for a new machine that takes up less space on your work area while not looking out of place but rather, enhancing the room aesthetically, then Acer’s most recent offerings might be worth looking into.
