One of the nifty new features found on the Samsung Galaxy S3 is its ability to track the user’s eye movement in order to see if they are looking at the screen. This helps to get rid of those annoying moments when you’re reading a particularly long or complex article and the screen blacks out on you or your phone auto-locks. Sure, you can disable those features in the options but you might forget to enable them later, which is why Samsung’s feature does have its merits. However if you don’t own a Samsung Galaxy S3 but you’d like that feature, you’re in luck as an app dubbed ISeeYou has been released and it is supposed to be able to do what Samsung’s Smart Stay feature does.

ISeeYou comes in two options – a paid version and a free version. They both do the same thing but the main difference is that in the paid version, you will be able to set how often the app will scan your face. The free version is set at every 20 seconds which could be a battery drain especially if your timeout is set at 60 seconds. We have yet to try this out for ourselves so we can’t really speak for its effectiveness but if you’d like to give it a try, you will be able to find the free version and the paid version at the Google Play store.
