If you’re looking for some gaming accessories for your home console or your home gaming rig, you might want to consider Performance Designed Products’ (PDP) Afterglow gaming peripherals. Debuted earlier this month at E3, the Afterglow gaming controllers and headsets are expected to be released this September. As pictured above, the headset has been rather uniquely designed and appears to be giving off some kind of light show which will no doubt prove to be a head turner if you were to bring it out with you on the streets or if it were to be used during LAN parties.

According to Performance Designed Products, the headsets will offer up to 10 hours of usage via a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, a bass boost, proprietary 3D surround sound algorithm and 50mm neodymium speakers. For those who would rather not get a wireless headset, PDP is also offering a wired version which will retail for $49.95, while the wireless one will retail for $89.95. Since we did not actually try these out for ourselves, we can’t really speak for its quality but they admittedly look pretty cool. Head on over to PDP’s website for the details.
