So we have caught glimpses of the Sony ST21i Tapioca in the past, where its benchmarks were revealed (or rather, leaked out to the masses) alongside some of its specifications like an 800MHz single-core processor running at the heart of things. What other information concerning this device can we garner from the Internet? Word has it that it will be known as the Sony Xperia Tipo when released to the masses, as this bit of information was revealed by the Indonesian Telecom regulator. At least it will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box without having you worry about whether there is a need to wait for an operating system update or not. Other hardware specifications about the upcoming Xperia Tipo would be a Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset alongside the Adreno 200 GPU, a 3.2″ HVGA display and a 3-megapixel camera. Any takers?
