Sony has just expanded their Xperia range with yet another smartphone from the Android-powered camp known as the Xperia miro, where it appeared on Sony Mobile’s Facebook campaign. Obviously, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandiwch is the operating system of choice here, where it will also be accompanied by a 3.5″ display as well as a 5-megapixel camera that does video recording at 30fps.

If you love partying, then Sony’s xLOUD audio technology that has been thrown into the mix ought to be able to get the job done, delivering crisp and loud sound. Not only that, there is also deep Facebook integration with contacts, gallery and the music player for sharing and discovery purposes. Just like previous Xperia handsets announced this year, there will also be customizable illuminations that alert you of incoming messages and social updates.

A front-facing camera is there for video chat between smartphones, tablets and PCs – and other compatible devices. You also have contactless DLNA connectivity that will allow one to easily view content such as photos and videos in a jiffy. Choose from black, black/pink, white and white/gold colors when the Xperia miro arrives on the market. The thing is, there is no word on pricing just yet, so expect it to fall under the mid-range pricing.
