We have a fetish for small devices such as the Raspberry Pi, the FXI Cotton Candy, and the AllWinner A10 Android 4.0 PC. Today, we’re adding a new gadget to the Lilliputian lineup. It’s called the MiniX TV Box. The MiniX TV Box gets points for its cuteness, and it is probably one the smallest top boxes we’ve ever seen. The MiniX TV Box is actually powered by an Allwinner A10 CPU 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 and a vMALI400 GPU, which means that it can operate a couple of Linux-based operating systems including Ubuntu, Fedora, and Puppy. The device also supports both Android 2.3 and Android 4.0. The MiniX TV Box features a 512 MB DDR3 RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, 2 USB ports, Wi-Fi, and an HDMI port. As for its price, DealExtreme is selling the device for $77.50 while Miniand Tech is currently offering it for $99 together with a 1-year warranty. The package includes a wireless remote control and an external antenna.
