You know something? The code names for Sony Mobile’s upcoming smartphones are pretty easy to roll off the tongue, but not quite so with the Sony LT25, otherwise known as Tsubasa. Some time ago, the Sony LT25c did make an appearance on the AnTuTu benchmark, which led to some speculation on the Internet at that point in time that this is most probably an exclusive smartphone just for China Telecom, although in recent times, there were other sources that started to reveal that the Sony LT25 does not work alone – as in, there will be its fair share of model variants, meaning a global release should be in the pipeline if our crystal ball gives off the correct reading.

Basically, Sony LT25 will carry the ‘Tsubasa’ code name, where it will arrive in LTE as well as HSPA+ versions. From its model number, chances are this will be the lesser handset compared to the Xperia S (aka LT26i) where specifications are concerned. Recent benchmark appearances of the Sony LT25i also point towards a display that has a 720 x 1280 resolution, an Adreno 225 GPU, and in all probability, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 Snapdragon MSM8960 chipset.
