We have seen our fair share of Minecraft mods in the past that recreated different worlds, including the World of Warcraft, and it did somewhat revive a love for blocky graphics. Well, here we are with a game known as GunCraft that is not a mod for Minecraft, but rather, it is a full-fledged FPS offering that has its fair share of multiplayer maps that will incorporate the kind of aesthetics that can be found in Mojang’s Minecraft.

Right now, the Beta version of Guncraft remains as a free download, although the final game will cost you some dough. Folks who have faith and $10 to spare can place a pre-order, where they will also be treated to additional bonuses when creators John Getty and Alex Schlee are done working on the game. What do you think of GunCraft for those of you who have given the Beta a go? Do you think it will be able to make it in this cut-throat world of video gaming?
