With Windows 8’s release date just around the corner, you know for sure that manufacturers who are focusing on Windows 8-powered devices will definitely work overtime to make sure that their hardware’s release date(s) will be in tandem as well. Samsung has revealed the pricing details for their ATIV range of Smart PCs, where the ATIV range will come in unique hybrid designs, sporting the likes of detachable keyboards among others.
The Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T and 700T will share touchscreen compatibility, come with detachable keyboards and will be powered by Intel processors, allowing you to run your slew of Window RT apps under the new touch user interface environment, as well as just about anything else you want to run without restrictions being placed on what you and cannot install. The ATIV Smart PC 500T will retail for $750 with a keyboard, and is $100 cheaper without one.
As for the ATIV Smart PC 700T, this puppy is more of a standard notebook in terms of hardware specifications, where it boasts of an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM and a $1,200 tag. Are you looking forward to what Windows 8 has in store for you?
