The Alcatel One Touch is well on its way to be released, where initial impressions point towards it being the most affordable Windows Phone-powered device to date. The thing is, assuming that is true, the Alcatel One Touch will also pick up one another accolade for itself – that is, being the first Windows Phone powered hardware that will not come with its iconic hardware camera button.

The Alcatel One Touch will feature a 4” WVGA display, running on a 1GHz processor, sport a 5-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, and will more or less cost 6,990 rubles ($226 thereabouts). You might not be too happy with the performance if you are looking for a high end device, since this comes with just 4GB of internal memory, without any possibility of expanding that via a memory card slot. What do you think of such a device hitting the stands? Will it be able to be a hit, or will it be overlooked by the masses? Let us know in the comments below.
