Are you living in Germany? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you might be interested to hear that Amazon Germany has priced the new Sony Xperia Z, all 16GB of it, at €649. Needless to say, that price is pretty steep no matter which angle you look at it from, but at least it jives with previous reports that you would not be able to bring home one of these bad boys for under the €600 mark in Europe (unsubsidized, of course). There was no mention by Amazon as to the exact date of the smartphone’s launch in Germany, but chances are it will happen in February or in March. The former would be great as you can take this opportunity to purchase a high-end Valentine’s Day gift for your loved one.

There was no mention of the Sony Xperia ZL by Amazon Germany though, which could mean that the Xperia Z is the only new Sony smartphone which you can find in Germany. Both the UK and Italy also do not seem too likely to be on the receiving end of the Xperia ZL, either. Well, at least your Xperia Z will come across as a dust-proof and waterproof smartphone.
