If you’ve checked out our hands-on of the Sony Xperia Z and you’re excited about it, you might be asking yourself when will you be able to get your hands on the device. Sony announced that the Xperia Z will be seeing a release in Q1 2013 but no specific dates were mentioned, but the good news for those living in the UK is that according to Phones4U, they retailer has announced that they would be offering the Sony Xperia Z come March 2013. Clove, another online retailer in the UK, has also announced the phone and has attached a price tag of £528 to it (unlock). Since it’s still a bit early, the price may or may not be fixed yet but if you were planning on getting it, that figure could be used as an estimate. This seems a little pricey and is over the estimate that Thai blog SonyXP has given which is around $655. Then again these are different markets so it is understandable that Sony might have employed a pricing differentiation strategy. Unfortunately for those of us living in the US, carrier availability has yet to be announced, but assuming there is no news for the US in March and you’re desperate for it, perhaps you will be able to import one for yourself from the UK unlocked.
