You know something? Back in the day when there was no Sony Mobile, it was Sony Ericsson, and I still remember the buzz that surrounded the Sony Ericsson T68i that came with a color display and Bluetooth connectivity, now was that novel or what? Well, here is a relic from the past as it still carries the Sony Ericsson name, although its appearance on eBay is definitely a pleasant one, being a Windows Phone prototype smartphone that ran on the Windows Phone platform.

Originally leaked in March a couple of years ago, it was captured on video as recently as June last year. The Sony Ericsson Jolie is a slider smartphone, where it underwent testing to see whether it is worthy enough to adopt the Windows Phone platform. There were only a few of these Jolie prototypes around, and one of them is now on eBay, featuring an early Windows Phone 7 build while sporting 16GB of internal memory and an 8-megapixel shooter. Right now, bids have yet to break the €200 mark, but with slightly more than a week to go for the auction, you might kiss goodbye to that price ceiling soon. [Auction Page]
