vhs-modeIn this day and age, we have more or less taken High Definition for granted, especially when such video quality is achieved on our TVs and even now, mobile devices, as smartphone manufacturers begin to include Full HD displays in their respective offerings. Of course, once you have tasted the goodness of Full HD video quality on your device, you would be hard pressed to settle for anything less, but the folks over at YouTube happen to be working on a blast from the past, so to speak, by offering an optional VHS mode for the YouTube player so that you can relive the moments of your youth where vintage video tapes were all the rage (and this is after the Betamax vs VHS war, of course).

So far, there has been no official list of compatible content made available to the masses, although it does seem as though this particular VHS mode is available on majority of the videos that are up on YouTube’s own native channel.
