David Hayter did bid fans of the Metal Gear Solid series goodbye, where his claim to fame was being Solid Snake’s voice. Of course, as the old saying goes, parting is such sweet sorrow, and even after Hayter decided to part ways with his most identifiable role to date, fans of the Metal Gear Solid series still find it difficult that it is time to move on. Konami themselves are no proponent of Google’s motto to “Do No Evil”, which is why they introduced a teaser video today that asks in no certain terms as to who Snake’s new voice will be.
The video itself will feature just several seconds’ worth of Snake’s face, which has obviously been set to the right kind of dramatic music in order to get the mood going. After all, don’t you think that Snake himself is already an established icon who deserves his very own theme?
