From June 18th to June 20th 2013, Dimension 3, the Forum of the New Dimensions of Images, will be presenting the state of the art in digital imaging. During 3 days, international experts and innovators will share their new projects and their perspective on the ecosystem at the Docks de Paris (France). This international meeting dedicated to professionals working in the creation, production and visualisation fields offers conference sessions and an exhibition area that features a new 3D printing corner. Dimension 3 also invites you to participate in two unique events: The BIG SHOOT, a set for production test and a 3D/4K Festival.
CONFERENCE SESSIONS DEDICATED TO THE EVOLUTIONS OF IMAGES
Over two days, Dimension 3 offers a series of conferences bringing together sixty international experts gathered to share their feedback and their vision of the future about workflow and digital broadcasting.
Some of the topics presented: What cameras what uses, tomorrow and in the future?/ Minuscule, the Valley of the Lost Ants: behind the scenes of the 3D shoot and workflow (This feature film will be released during 2013 third term) / Augmented Reality applied to the media…
LE BIG SHOOT: ALL THE CAMERAS ON THE SAME SET
Leading manufacturers and service providers of the digital imaging industry will gather around a 200 sqm shooting set to allow visitors to test an amazing range of devices dedicated to filming and postproduction. All the cameras and tools that will be part of tomorrow’s film production will be represented, whether it is HD, HFR, 3D, 4K or DSLR… And to make this experience really exceptional, the ecosystem will integrates a stage where circus artists will be performing!
AN INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL FOR S3D AND 4K CONTENTS
Dimension 3 will promote talents through a S3D and 4K competition. This year, the Festival welcomes 85 international films in competition. The most beautiful movies will be screened during a special and dedicated day on June 20th
