evernoteiosWe have seen how Evernote for Android received an update not too long ago, and those who use Evernote on the iPhone and iPad (basically, iOS-powered devices) will now be able to enjoy features such as shortcuts, related notes as well as Skitch support. Yes sir, the latest Evernote update would bump up the version to 5.4, where the new features that are thrown into the mix have been said to help you “rediscover” your notes, allowing you to make the jump to important content right away, in addition to making life easy when annotating just about anything in your account.

Shortcuts, formerly known as Favorites on iPhone, allows you to check out important notes, notebooks and tags in a jiffy, ensuring that stuff that are near and dear to your heart will always be at your fingertips, and remain synchronized across all the other versions of Evernote that you use. Heck, you are even able to make Shortcuts to Saved Searches. Regardless of whether you are a Free or Premium user, you will see a display of your recently viewed notes right at the bottom of an open note. [App Store Link]
